Zhu Di,the founder of Ming Dynasty,is an important figure in the history of Ming Dynasty. The issue of his mother birth is also a problem that scholars have paid more attention to since the middle of Ming Dynasty.Especially in the late Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, the legend about Zhu Di’s mother was gradually spread by more and more historians in Han and Mongolia.Meanwhile,it was recorded and verified by the historians. It is clear that the legend was not accidental. In the records of Ming and Qing Dynasties about the birth mother of Ming Chengzu, the Han historical records mainly include the theory that empress Ma,the empress of Xiaoci and Gao,is the empress Ma,and the unidentified concubine Zhen.Through the analysis and textual research of historical materials,we can find that the two statements have certain basis, but there is a certain subjectivity,so the problem of becoming a grandparent in the Han and Ming Dynasties is still a mystery. In the history of Mongolia,it is recorded that the Hongjila, the son of Hongjila, the son of the emperor of the Emperor Shun of Yuan Dynasty, said that although the statement had been considered by later generations of experts and scholars as only a fictional legend,it was recorded in some important Mongolian chronicles in Ming and Qing dynasties. It can be seen that Hongjila’s theory was paid attention and spread in this period. The emergence of different views on the issue of the birth mother of Ming Chengzu and the reasons why various views have different degrees of development and evolution in their respective systems are closely related to the specific political background and group background in which these views came into being and developed. In the Han Dynasty, the emergence and development of the two theories were not only influenced by the "Jingnan battle" in the early Ming Dynasty and the patriarchal clan system in the Ming Dynasty, but also related to the current situation of internal and external troubles in the late Ming Dynasty and the emergence of a large number of private historians in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. In Mongolia, the origin and development of the legend of Hongjila family not only originated from the historical tradition of Mongolian nomads spreading myths and legends since ancient times, but also closely related to the Mongolian historians’ hope to strengthen the legitimacy of the rule of the "golden family" in Mongolia and the fate of the Mongols by demonstrating the continuation of the unification of the "golden family" in the Ming Dynasty. |
