He Xin-yin,a elite in Tai Zhou schools, the representative of another bold and unconstained school together with his teacher Yan Shan-nong, was an independent thinker with his ideas as well as his behaviour all his life. However, we can find out if we make a thorough study on He Xin-yin that he did not break away from the thought of Wang Yang-ming schools, but tallied with it profoundly. What's more, He Xin-yin's thought still tallied with the thought of Confucius and Mencius. With Confucius being his tutor and Mencius his model, He Xin-yin tried his best to explore the truth both in idea and behaviour, showing deep solicitude for the whole society. It can be telled through four parts about He Xin-yin's main ideas. They are the opinion of the heaven and human with the core of benevolence, the view on ethics with high value on friendship, the theory of the transmission of the truth with the perfection of tutor and the idea of society with the ideal of great unity. In fact, He Xin-yin was more traditional than unconventional, which suggests the originality of the thought of Confucius and Mencius and the vitality of our Chinese culture. Then from it we can gain a good deal of enlightenment.
