The article is a report about study on the "EnXing"of South Dynasty, focusing on somepersonalities in The Biography Of EnXing and The Biography Of XingChen from someorthodox writings on the history of the South Dynasty.After a long time of disunion, the South and the North Power was in confrontation, andthe political society was very unstable. During this period, the decadent royalty needed tostrengthen their power, and it was necessary for the governor to maintain the country machineworking effectively. So the "EnXing"in the South Dynasty came into being. They weredeferent from the ministers, who appeared before the South Dynasty. Nor were they the samewith autocratic power of the royalty's collateral relatives and the eunuches. The "EnXing"showed great interests in attending the politics, maintained and strengthened the royaltypower in some ways, which brought some impact on the downfall aristocratic family and bigclan politics. They set their foot in the South Dynasty politics in a very wide range, whichcovered decision making, administration, personnel appointment, supervision and military, etc.The "EnXing"in the South Dynasty had played a great role in strengthening the imperialpower, breaking the officialdom system, and giving great impact on the political society. Theinterference of the"EnXing"in the politics is a kind of assistance and supplement for theroyalty power, which serves for the reviving of the royalty power, and is antagonistic to theofficialdom system and the heavy ministers'monopolizing power.The "EnXing"wasn't a progressive rising class. Though the rapid great changes in socialstatus brought them political power and wealth, the limitation of their birth and literacyalways implicated them to a mistress ending. For their poor morality and poor abilities inrunning the country and army, the "EnXing"'s interference in the politics has brought muchdemolition to the South Dynasty, which is more than the positive impact it has brought to.
