At the time of western and Eastern Han Dynasty, the northwestern clan is the regional political group which around the various forces in the Longxi and Hexi area in the northwest. They had a series of effects in the political, military, economic, cultural and ethnic relations of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Academic scholars on the subject of this group are very concerned, and a large number of books have been published. However, in general terms, these studies are mostly single; they all stay in the figures and discussion of a single family. The subject that been considering as a regional group of holistic and systematic approach is also difficulty. This writing method is based on previous studies, summarized articles, refined faults, and trying to break through the limitations of this problem. It's based on the properties of the Eastern Han Dynasty imperial politics and the relations that between Northwest Han with the imperial power; attempting to summarize the clues and causes in the Eastern Han Dynasty; and the development of the central government on the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, the northwestern clan can be divided into four stages of development. First, One branch had been raised in the occasion of the Han and during the course of the war in Jianwu period. Second, at the period of Yongping, Jianchu and Yongyuan dynasty, this branch has become the dominant political force. Third, The branch had been raised at the middle period that the Dukes good at the right. Fourth, the branch of had declined with rising of eunuchs and declining of the Dukes. Each stage in the history of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the northwest Han are the focus of political conflict. This phenomenon that concubines and Dukes interference in domestic affairs, had all began in the northwestern clan. Dukes'politics is to reach its peak in the Northwest Han period. The rising of eunuchs is also inextricably linked with this. Interior had been divided into two groups, Ma clan family ,Dou clan family and his followers that attached to imperial power had been left out of this place. And Ma clan family was the local forces in the behalf of the relevant. This outcome shows that the northwestern clan must had been survived rely on imperial power. The alienation of imperial power is an important point of this article, this view begins with Qian Mu. Luan Baoqun, Gong Tingwei and Wang Linzi has been further elaborated, this text will be systematic, theoretical and concrete. In this system, the emperor was regarded as a more generalized concept; the imperial throne is named as narrow. As the limitations of centralized feudal despotism, System designers and implementers inevitable gaps in capacity. This gap causes the system to give power of the monarchy can not be guaranteed. So there's departure from the monarchical and imperial power, that power changed hands, because Dukes eunuch without authorization of the situation. This is the imperial power of alienation. The significance of imperial theory of alienation is the decline of monarchical power and the decline of imperial power to distinguish. For a long time the two concepts are confused. Indeed, even the sovereign is not entitled to state, imperial control over the country still can be enhanced around the monarchical power of the imperial power players can also play a role in strengthening the imperial power.Imperial power of alienation is reflected in the Chinese dynasties, this phenomenon reflects the very significant. The northwest Han got the identity of Dukes in Yongping period, the relationship exceptionally close with the imperial power. When the alienation of imperial power occurs, they become the biggest beneficiary. When Dukes as Dou Xian and Liang Shang who ruled the country, tremendous development had been made in the condition of weak monarchical. Sijung and cabinet systems developed into political bases for the future dynasties. All These things provide supports to the theory of alienation of imperial power.
