The Charm Of Nature

The thesis is a discussion about Thomas Moore's (1779-1852) Naturalism—its form and characteristics. The body part is divided into four chapters. An introduction comes before the body part and a conclusion follows it. There is a brief discussion of Moore's life and main works in the Introduction. Chapter one is about Moore's Naturalism and its background. Chapter two discusses his sincere love for nature in his poems. Chapter three is about his erotic lyric poetry and chapter four is the poetry of Irish opposition and revolt. There is a summary in the Conclusion that Moore is a man who loves nature and seeks freedom. He is a patriotic poet of Ireland, devoting all his life to Irish liberation.
