Chapter one is about Moore's Naturalism and its background. Chapter two discusses his sincere love for nature in his poems. Chapter three is about his erotic lyric poetry and chapter four is the poetry of Irish opposition and revolt. There is a summary in the Conclusion that Moore is a man who loves nature and seeks freedom. He is a patriotic poet of Ireland, devoting all his life to Irish liberation.
