WangBi was the youngest and the most creative philosopher in the period of Wei and Jin Dynasty . Through interpreting Laozi and Zhouyi, he established the philosophical system of "ChongBenXiMo" , which is a pioneering development of Confucianism and Taoism . By analyzing The Note of LaoZi , WangBi's philosophy was explained from different aspects through the line of "ChongBenXiMo".Firstly, this article analyzes objectively the inevitability of WangBi's philosophy in the view of history and development , pointing out that WangBi's philosophy not only conforms to the historical trend , but also is the inevitable academic outcome of the development of Taoism in the period of Wei and Jin Dynasty .Secondly , WangBi's philosophy is to be set forth in detail from three aspects: ontology , political point of view and the compromise of Confucianism and Taoism . On one hand , WangBi successfully set up the ontology philosophy on the basis of Taoism universal creation ; on the other hand , WangBi managed to syncretize Confucianism and Taoism .Finally , WangBi created a new explaining method in the history of Confucianism and Taoism sutra , which has become the main and the typical explaining approach in Chinese academic history .
