In Ming-Qing Dynasty, the construction of basic facilities and serviceagencies for disseminating domestic information was greatly improved, whichis instrumented in building the Information Channel System objectively.With their increasing activities in long-distance transportation of goods,market competition, opening-up of new market and the cultivation ofsuccessors, Huizhou merchants pay special attention to the establishment of theinformation network channels.Based on the historical records in connection with the theory of modernpropaganda, this paper analyzes and discusses Huizhou merchants'informationchannel types in Ming-Qing Dynasty. From the perspectives of informationcollection and delivery, this paper makes a further study on some specificinformation channels applied by Huizhou merchants in Ming-Qing Dynasty.With more comparative analysis, it makes us historically and dialecticallyrecognize the strength and weak points of the information channels applied byHuizhou merchants in Ming-Qing dynastys.Information channels promoted the development and integration ofHuizhou merchant groups, improved Huizhou merchants'business operationabilities and urged Huizhou merchants to take an active part in relevantinformation channels establishment. However, it, to some extend ,made somenegative effect to Huizhou merchants.
