Tracing To The Source Of Han Yu's Theory Of Opposing Buddhism

This thesis is mainly aim to discuss the yu-wei doctrine based on benefaction to people in Han Yu's political and ethical thought, and it was written in three parts. First of all, I started with Han Yu's memorial to stupa to trace the source of Han Yu's theory of opposing Buddhism and to talk about his theory of benefaction to people. Second, based on the theory of benefaction to people, I pointed out that the theory of benefaction to people was the same as yu-wei, and the ideology foundation of yu-wei was his yu-wei doctrine .His series of movements were guided by his yu-wei doctrine. At last, I meditated on Han Yu's yu-wei doctrine based on benefaction to people to discuss the advancements and limitation s of his pensee.The first part was started with Han Yu's actions of opposing Buddhism to probe into the reasons. After discussing the political situation of the Tang dynasty and Han Yu's special experiences, I traced the source of his actions of against Buddhism further, discussed his theory of benefaction to people, and pointed out how important this theory, that was the base point of his pensee, was in his whole ideology.The second part commented on most of Han Yu's movements, connected...
