Wang yangming was a master of LU-WANG mind studies and made great contributions to push mind studies since Song Dynesty to its peak, which can be eponymous with Confucius,Mencius,ZhuXi and other Confucians.Doctrine in four axioms proposed in Yangming's later years since the days of fountain way occupies a very high position of his theoretical system, which can be considered the generalization of the whole philosophy system,as well as the academic summary of Wangyangming. But since the days of fountain way, understanding of doctrine in four axioms of philosophers from all previous dynasties is far more controversial, thus becoming a big issue under discussion in the history of Ming dynasty.Views of different sides are quite different, such as the positive views of WangJi,wait-and-see attitude of a Confucian professor named LiFu from Qing Dynasty, and the negative idea of LiuZongzhou,HuangZongxi as well as the fierce criticism of WangFuzhi,YanYuan and others.Behind these controversy,it embodies the integration and absorption of Yangming doctrine from theories of different schools Taoism,as well as the close relationship between the four teaching and the Confucianism as well as the Buddhism. This article tries to systematically explain the relationship between the four teaching and the Confucianism and the Buddhism, from the view of each of the four teaching. In content, first introduces the background of four teaching,WangYangming's academic growth process and the relationship with Confucianism and Buddhism. In the body, the first chapter, starting from the first sentence, focuses on explaining the relationship between no good without evil and undiscovered temperament as well as beyond good and evil. The relationship between no good without evil and undiscovered temperament, namely equals its relationship with the Confucianism, which mainly argues from the point of supreme good,non-good and evil of Gaozi, failing to express in Moderation, and "static" of YueJi,demonstrating that the non-good an evil heart in the four teaching is only a metaphysical concept and has no direct relation with good and evil. The relationship between non-good and evil and beyond good and evil, equals its relationship with Buddhism, which mainly argues from the point of origin of the heart, the concept of no-thinking of good and evil in Buddhism, the relationship in temperament theory of the two,the expression of beyond good and evil as well as the concept of eternal heart hiding and so on.The second chapter mainly introduces the relationship between the action of good and evil and the expression of heart as well as the disappearance of the evil thoughts. The relationship between having good and evil and the expression of the heart equals that with the Confucianism, which mainly argues from the point of the Confucians' explanation of Yi,the concept of expression, the description of Qi at Song Dynasty,as well as the sincerity and so on.The relationship between having good and evil and the disappearance of the evil thoughts equals that with Buddhism, which mainly argues from the point of the evil thoughts, the disappearance from the bottom hearts and the range of Nian in Buddhism. The third chapter mainly introduces the relationship between knowing good and evil and heart-learning as well as knowing the true heart, which mainly discusses the relationship between knowing good and evil and and the expression of the heart as well as with Confucianism, starting from the definition of Conscious by the Great Learning,Mencius and Confucians in Song Dynasty. Also, starting from studying what it is,what is really hidden, virtual spirit of understanding and so on to explain the relationship between knowing good and evil and knowing the true heart as well as with Buddhism. The fourth chaptermainly introduces the relationship between behaving good and knowing temperament and heaven's will as well as learning and practicing to enlighten, and explains the relationship between behaving good and Confucianism based on the investigation theory of Confucianism and neo-confucianism since the Great Learning as well as the self-cultivation of Mencius and Xuncius, and also explains the relationship between behaving good and Buddhism from the aspect of the division of moral practice theme and the relationship between learning and enlightening.Generally, this paper holds that Yangming's doctrine in four axioms inherit the wonderful thoughts in Mencius, the Great Learning,Moderation and also the subsequent neo-confucianism such as Zhuxi,Chenghao and Chengyi. It is both an inheritance and an innovation of Confucianism heritage, and has has the unique tendency of taking Buddhism into Confucianism at that time, thus pushing the outcome of combination of three religions to its peak, which leads to a great leap of Confucianism since absorbing the thoughts of Buddhism and that means a lot in the history of the Confucianism.
