Temporal reasoning is one of the most important components in daily events. This research has two kinds of main paradigms— periodical temporal reasoning and temporal relation reasoning. Most of the previous studies are focused on periodical temporal reasoning, while not on temporal relation reasoning. In this study, we explored the temporal relation reasoning of daily events with college students as subjects. The number of models, the number of premises, irrelevant premise, and valid answers or not of reasoning tasks are all considered in the experiment design. Combining with the two experiment results, we have known as follows:(1) The subject individual has significant difference in one-model problem with transitive relation based on four premises, one-model problem with irrelevant premise, multiple-model problem based on four premises, multiple-model problem with no valid answer based on four premises, one-model problem based on two premises, multiple-model problem with no valid answer based on two premises.(2) The individual temporal relation reasoning has no significant difference in either sex or "premise-question " presentation sequence. Whereas, while subject is aware of the irrelevant premise existing in reasoning tasks, the reaction time of premise-question sequence is much longer than question-premise.(3) The number of models, the number of premises, irrelevant premise, valid answer or not of reasoning tasks and personality characteristics in time can affect the individual temporal relation reasoning.
