In daily life,we often need to perceive,memorize and reasoning time according to the sequence of events,so as to recognize time.The study of temporal reasoning mainly has two perspectives: periodicity temporal reasoning and temporal relation reasoning.The process of time judgment according to the sequence of events,which is temporal relation reasoning of daily events.There is a lot of research on periodicity temporal reasoning,but the temporal relation reasoning is just beginning.This study includes two parts,the first experiment primarily researchs the characteristics of temporal relation reasoning on daily events in junior high school students and it's strategy.On the basis of the first experiment,the second part explores the difference of personality characteristics in time dimension,and analyzes the effect of time management tendency(high group and low group of participants)for temporal relation reasoning performance,based on daily events.According to the results of two parts in this study,the preliminary exploration of the temporal relation reasoning ability on daily events in junior high school students is concluded:(1)there is a significant difference of reaction-time on subject age and direction of temporal relation reasoning on daily events in junior high school students,but no significant difference of accuracy.(2)the number of models of reasoning task,the number of premises and the irrelevant premise of reasoning task have no significant difference to the reaction-time and accuracy of temporal relation reasoning on daily events in junior high school students.Valid answer or not of reasoning task has significant effect on the reaction-time and accuracy.(3)there is an interaction of problem type and direction in the reaction-time and accuracy of temporal relation reasoning on daily events in junior high school students.(4)junior high school students is more inclined to use the strategy of "question-premise " order in temporal relation reasoning on daily events.(5)the individual personality characteristics in time dimension has significant difference in temporal relation reasoning performance on daily events in junior high school students.
