Xin Yu succeeded the throne and the powerful bureaucrat Li Ren Ren held the great power. The relationship between Ming and Gao Li got worse and the both sides were pushed onto the edge of war. But with the burst of Yuan's renaissance, Gao Li was forced to rebuild its foreign policy and frequently sent for rewards tribute, invitation of Dynasty Ming, but they were all refused by Dynasty Ming. Until the 18th year of Hong Wu regime, Zhu Yuan Zhang didn't forgive Gao Li and appoint Xin Yu king of Gao Li.By this means, the both sides established the new vassal suzerain relationship.
