This paper has investigated the cause and effect of the incident of the real estate of American military camp in Beijing on the basis of forefathers' research results, have probed into several side questions , and has put forward several own views, in the hope of contributing to advancing the research of this question.The first part has reviewed the state of the mainland scholar 's study on this question , of continent , since the end of 1970s, have described the main matters that are involved among them .The second part has introduced the origin of the real estate of American military camp in Beijing, has explained the reason why the incident happened, have reviewed the process, especially the negotiations between China and the United States ,and solution to the real estate of military camp .The third part has narrated a impact on America's recognition of the new China, therefore American force 's withdraw from China's Mainland. Proceed from this incident, the paper has probed into the essential feature of the Sino-US relations of the first half of 1950.The fourth part has investigated some important problems that this incident involves from the comparison of two reference systems. Through the comparison with the Ward case , the paper have probed into different backgrounds from which the Communist Party of China dealt with them, put forward that this difference indicated the forming process of the new China 's policy to America; Through the comparison with dealing with British military camp, the paper have analyzed the different attitude between Great Britain and the United States , and has put forward this paper the view of the paper as to the responsibility of relations of China and the West.The fifth part has analyzed the international law that this incident involved, pointing out the legitimacy , and has described the newChina's basic attitude to the international law and the international...
