After the Second World War,the Soviet Union raised a socialism upsurge globally, which made the socialism leap out of the scope of a country.Under such a circumstance,China established its own socialist regime in 1949.From then on,the relationship between China and the Soviet Union emerged as the times required.Unlike most of other socialist countries,China did not completely copied the experience of Soviet construction and did not leave the Soviet Union to direct the development of its socialism after the two countries' honeymoon. In the face of China's "rebellion",the Soviet Union did not take coercive measures against China as it did to other countries. And it can be said that the relationships between the two countries are tortuous, ranging from intimacy to suspicion, then from open confrontation to a standstill, and finally to normalization. Moreover, such changes also reflected the international environment manifested in respective stages of the cold war.The relationship of Sino-Soviet has always been a hot topic in international research, especially in the academic circles after the collapse.Generally speaking, the general trend was determined by the relationship of Sino-Soviet in the 1970 s,promoting the continuous development and change of the international situation and pattern in the context of the Cold War.There also emerged new trends. At that stage, although the two sides didn't reconcile as before or even still had the appearance of confrontation, the two sides began to contact gradually and then some signs of easing appeared. In the 1970 s,there were no intensified contradictions between the two countries leading to the normalization of bilateral relationships in the late 1980 s.During this period, the changes of the bilateral relationships could be analyzed as the following three aspects: First, the background of the transformation of bilateral relationship in the 1970 s,namely, what kind of relationship the two sides were in before the 1970s;Second,why the relationship between the two countries changed in this period, and how about the performance of the transformation; Finally, what kind of influence they brought to the their own after the changes, and how they affected the world. In addition,we need to pay attention to one more question: why did the two sides show signs of easing in the 1970 s,but contacted each other since 1980 s.And the normalization was completely restored until the late 1980 s.Studying the transformation of Sino-Soviet relationship in the 1970 s is helpful to study and analyze the overall change of Sino-Soviet relationship better.Besides,it's also beneficial to thoroughly clarify the relationship between socialist countries in a certainly particular period.Last but not least, studying such a special states' relationship will stimulates us to research the changes of states relationships and the overall transformation and development of the international situation under the circumstance of the Cold War more objectively.
