Technology is one of the most important phenomena of our modern society. Accordingly, reflecting on technology has become an important phenomenon. At present, optimism, which just says "yes" to technology has been looked upon as naive; and we would not accept pessimism, which rejects and just says "no" to technology, though it contains rich thoughts and is profound. This paper firstly examines Heidegger's theory on thechnology and points out its problems. On the basis of this, it introduces and comments on doctor Simon Cooper's and Andrew Feenberg's critical theory of technology. Cooper broadly explores the work of major modern and postmodern thinkers and cultural movements for whom the question of technology has been central, and deeply analyses the mode of our being human in this modern technologised society. Then, alongside the best aspects of Heidegger, he articulates a positive position that we can say both "yes" and "no" to technology. Andrew Feenberg is a famous philosopher of technology. He combines the broad arguments with actual experiences and put forward his profound and influential critical theory of technology. There are common aspects between Cooper's and Feenberg's theories. Their theories can be a mutual supplement and support. Understanding and studying these theories are helpful and meaningful for us to deeply understand technology and positively face technology problems. These theories have theoretical and practical significance to the construction and modernization of our country.
