| The credibility is the basic principle that any healthy social interaction and benign social circulation must have. But the economy is the foundation of the society. On the basis of the different economic foundation of the society, the credibility principle has the different contents and requests. The market economy is a kind of contractual economy, and the groundwork of the contractual economy is the modern credibility. Without the modern credibility, the concluded contract will become a piece of wastepaper. At the same time, the commitment on oral communication is not worth a cent too. In addition it puts the modern credibility in the whole contractual ethic system then the basic spirit of it can be grasped accurately. For instance, the market economy can be attached to not only capitalism, but also socialism and contractual ethic can be attached to capitalism and socialism.Here is the basic idea of the thesis. To generalize the basic implication of the socialist contract ethic from the theory of the common contractual ethic, and the stress is, through the theory of modern utility, discussing the modern credibility, a kind of basic spirit of contractual ethic.
