Therefore, the Fourth Plenum of the 16th CPC also makes it clear that an important part of building a socialist harmonious society and the fundamental requirements, including to build democratic law, fairness and justice, honesty, friendliness, vibrant, stable and orderly, harmonious coexistence of human and nature.Part I The rich resources of faith between Western and Chinese traditional culture. From the ancinet time honesty is considered as the root of improving and cultivating one's moral characters, the foundation of being a man and establishing government and it is one of the basic moral norm of Chinese. Being the important category of traditional Chinese moral principles and the main moral norm, honesty has long been concerned. The great thinker Confucius believes that honesty is the important point of being a man. That is to say, man is not a man without the character of honesty, just like the wagons can not work without bearings. Zeng Zi pays more attention to self-cultivating and says :"I judge myself by three normals every day", the two of these normals concern about honesty: Whether I was faithful when giving advices to others; whether I was sincere when making friends.《Rites? Mean》says,"It is the honesty that you can attain a state which nature, material and human mix together."And it also says,"Honesty, the blueprint of daily life and the source of all kinds of behavior."Honesty is considered as nuclear category that is well versed in the whole morality. In《Rites?School》,sincerity is looked upon as an important tache which connected eliminating ambition, obtaining wisdom with being integrity, cultivating moral characters,creating harmony within families, governing country and conquring the whole world, it is also taken as the key point of cultivating inner morals and training outer ones.The traditional western morals are wisdom, courage, justice and restraint. Among them the principle of justice is closely related to the integrity of character, as Germany Jammu Crete said, "People who dominated by wealth completely is not always justice."Plato takes it as a principle of exchange and trade."The exchange of goods were taken place in a fixed situation, and it can not on credit; there are no fraud in the excess of exchange, it has been seen as deceptive."Thus, the behavior of getting profit in a way of dishonesty is incompatible with the principle of impartiality obviously. In addition, the secularization in the West is a concrete demonstration of good faith. Western belief in God is the reason for its existence of devotion to God in life, if not sincere enough, you will be punished not only in this life, but to the soul after death, even the afterlife you will suffer more.Part II The reason and disadvantage of honesty crisis. With the establishment of a market economy system, the rapid economic growth and the excessive pursuit of material interests, the materialization of life, immoral and honesty crisis are formed accordingly.
