A Study On Modern Chinese Double-Reference Phrase

Regarding "three-plane"theory and "two-triangle"theory as guidelines, we depicted and explained the Modern Chinese Double-Reference phrase from different angles and expected to probe into or solve some problems. The full thesis was divided into five parts altogether: One, Summary of studying We made a brief introduction and review of Modern Chinese Double-Reference phrase from the perspectives of phrase-defining, phrase-categorizing, semantics, syntax, and pragmatics, etc. Two, The disputed problems in studying There are some disputed problems in the studying of Double-Reference phrase and it's relevant problems. For the disputed problems in studying, we drew the conclusion that ''Double-Reference''is better than ''same location''as a name of phrase; the Double-Reference relationship between the projects is one-way but not two-way; Double-Reference phrase is different with the other phrases and should make one alone; the projects such as ''hit the man''and ''safe''are predicate word but not body word. In this part, we mainly discussed the problem of the arrangement of the projects, the problem of mark, and the problem of the pragmatics function.
