Search For The Fulcrum Of Life: Research On Frankl's Logotherapy

Archimedes said "Give me a fulcrum and I will lift the earth", while Frankl told us "Give me a pivot and I will bring more wonders to my life." His pivot just referred to the "meaning of life". His Logotherapy helped to diagnose the postwar "existential vacuum" among people. Taking "freedom of will", "will to meaning" and "meaning of life" as his important theoretic pivots, he insisted that human beings should and could discover and develop the meaning of life through creative values, experiential values and attitudinal values. He also proposed some techniques of logotherapy. His logotherapy is highly significant for us to understand and study current phenomena of life and problems of life in modern society.
