It is obviously connected with the practice of literature writing since 1990s that body is a one of the key words in Chinese literary criticism, especially as an extraordinary active power, feminine writings in 90s have achieved conspicuous success. However, it is just one step from private, feminine experienced novel to the bodily writing. With the introduction of western feminism and rediscovery, the step was taken easily. The strategy of the bodily writing Helene Cixous advocated provided feminine writing with legal reasons, and then spread quickly through the whole late born generation who belongs to bodily type and form a tidal wave of orectic writing. Among them, the bodily writing seemed just to refer to the orectic writing of female writers, so it offered feminism some new research subjects. The "new" here means that the social history, culture context in which those texts produced are different from the past and the displacement of the cultural connotation of body. The penetration of commercialism and postmodernism into the bodily writing is a field that feminism is reluctant to come into currently. The dissertation, applying feminism as the theory background, and the female bodily writings in the past decade as an object of research, on the basis of reading texts in detail, tries to unveil how body operated in Chinese feminine writing and reflected its social cultural change in that period. Since feminism isn't a literary theory alone, but it offers a completely new perspective for human history and culture. It builds and develops its own theory and keep assimilating other good ideas. Therefore, the thesis will benefit from other necessary theories. The bodily writings of female writers often make marvelous spectacle in contemporary literary world, but it can hardly be papered over by the artificial inflation that the bodily writing of feminism has been decadent. After sucking the body's mental content dry, it becomes a place of consumption and entertainment. Female writers and theorist have to face up to the limitation to keep the bodily writing from getting into a narrow space.
