| This paper has mainly discussed the expression form of nationalism in the field of natural science in Republican China and also has preliminarily discussed the interactive relation between natural science and nationalism. Introduction has briefly discussed the origin of problem, the researched object of paper, research history, the problem that will be solved and the research way of thinking of problem and paper.The text has been divided into 3 chapters. The first chapter has mainly discussed the expression of nationalism in the natural science education and research policy of the government of Republican China, as well as the relation of both. The second chapter has discussed the nationalism and the natural science education in Republican China, spreading out specifically in 3 sides: 1,The indigenization of natural science education; 2, The tendency of attaching importance from liberal art to natural science education; 3,The science education of national defense sprang up with nationalism. The third chapter has studied for the expression of nationalism in the natural scientific research of Republican China, discussed the effect nationalism on the distributing of research focuses. In the angle of viewing nationalism opposing the inbreak of foreign scientific force, the dissertation has specifically discussed natural science of Republican China is how to defend the scientific rights and interests of China, is also how to participate in international science cooperate.Nationalism has gotten universal value identification in the society of Republican China. Natural science must meet the requirement of nationalism. Therefore nationalism has great influence on many aspect of natural science in Republican China.
