Jiben (1485—1563), born in Kuaiji, styled Mingde, was also known by his literary name Pengshan. He was one of wang yangming's disciples. After Yangming passed away, his disciples had different theoretical aims, one each to some extent, and the atmosphere for "taking naturalness as the purpose" was very popular. However, Jiben thought this kind of statement had violated the master's purpose, then proposed " the theory of LongTi " and argued that there is no naturalness without domination ,what "naturalness" is just the domination which is not stagnant. He formed a consistent and unique theoretical system with this thought as its spirit gradually ,having a style of his own. This article has analysed and interpreted his unique theoretical system from three aspects (doctrine on Li and Qi; doctrine on Hsin and Hsing; doctrine on Gong-fu) in all-round way, having shown its spiritual train of thought—"advocating domination and belittling naturalness", also having refined out some more characteristic thoughts of his, such as " Hsing is the active Li "," the original substance of Hsin is decided, often cautious, often holds back (introspect, review) ",etc.
