Before An-Shi rebellion,inorder to control LiaoXi,LiaoDong and North Asia,Tanggovernment intended to appease Xi and Qidan in Liaoxi using the method of marrigerelation,but that resulted in failure as their civil strife.After that,there were conflicts betweenTang and then.under that circumstance,An Lushan developed his strongest army ofTang.During An-shi rebellion, the two states sometimes cooperated with and sometimesopposed Tang's army, due to their own practical interests. After An-Shi rebellion, Huihubecame strong in north Asia,So Xi and Qidan changed into its vassal. Bohai was studyingTang's culture at that time,willing to set up its sound autocratic system and widen field innorth and north-east.It kept neutural during An-Shi rebellion, without attemptation to attackXinluo cooperation with Japan. Bohai widened its land and kept rising in northeast Asiaduring An-Shi rebellion, while Japan attempted to aggressive Xinluo when had strongtheneddefense in western border, however, it had to stop due to civil strife and famine. There wasalso no chance for Japan to get back Kawakiyo Fujiharano because of war.An-Shi rebelliondid not interrupted Janpan learning from Tang, but could not compared to itself before An-Shirebellion.
