In the year of2008, due to the impact of the global financial crisis, Northeast Asiaeconomy was in a transition period, in order to strengthen regional exchanges andcooperation, The Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies and Liaoning Universityjointly hosted the NORTHEAST ASIA FORUM2013. Relevant experts and scholars wasinvited participating in discussions. For this forum is an international activities, severalinterpreter will be needed for the consecutive interpretation work, The committee AsiaResearch Center of Liaoning University invite some teachers that have done sometranslation task before and several MTI students of class2012, to take this task. This isby far, one of the most formal consecutive interpretation task I have ever participated.During the conference, some teachers and even guests gave us some valuablecomments and suggestions, taught us experiences of interpreting and translating. Thisconference offers a chance for us who learn interpreting, as we could use what we havelearned in the past and gain real-scenario experience. What’s more, we gained a globalvision on the hot issues, which will serve s a very good example for us to think broadlyin the future and will lay a solid foundation for our future career.This report is a summary of the consecutive interpretation, through examples, alongwith the actual difficulties facing during interpretation, such as missing notes, stage fright,and analysis by using theories and skills of interpretation, at the same time evaluate theadvantages and disadvantages in the process of interpretation. This report is also areflection for the interpretation preparation work beforehand. Finally, this practice hadcleared out the direction of our study and work in the future.
