A Study Of The Contemporary Value Of Zhu Guangqian's On Poems

On Poems is one of the representative esthetics works of Zhu Guangqian, whose aim is to establish the Chinese modern new poem theory systems and seek the way out for the development of Chinese new poems. The whole book adopts the method of compareing China with west, melts Chinese poem theories into western and becomes one kind of the unique theory. The author used the western poem theories to analysis Chinese poetries and poem theories, made Chinese traditional and perceptual arts have the rational colors of modern sciences. Some famous judgements, which western theories have been verified or corrected by Chinese poems and poem theories, made western poem theories more scientific and perfect, and have rich significance and useful reference to the development of Chinese new poems.This paper contains four parts. The first part is the introductory remarks, which states in brief the present study situation of On poems and the key point of this paper.
