Research About Preposition System Of Biyan Lu

Biyan Lu is a Buddhism Quotation in the Song Dynasty, which was written by the well-known buddhist monk Yuanwu Foguo, was accomplished from 1125 to 1128, which were the early years of South-Song Dynasty and the last years of North-Song Dynasty. It has become the most important ancient book of Chinese Buddhism Quotation,and especially has exerted a great influence on Japan's Buddhism after its accomplishment. It provides the massive language material which basically reflected the original appearance of Chinese of that period,and built a powerful foundation for us to study the Song Dynasty Chinese.This thesis takes the prepositions of Biyan Lu as its research object, making a classified description and comparing analysis, describing the development and modification of the prepositions in the Song Dynasty. This thesis takes static description as its main method. The thesis can be divided into four parts as following:First part: Introduction. Introduction of Biyan Lu,its author,content and value.Second part: About the study of prepositions. Firstly we introduced the survey of the preposition reseach. Secondly after resuming the debate about the divide standard of prepositions and about the interior classification of prepositions in the educational circles, we divided the prepositions of Biyan Lu into three varieties: prepositions about time or location; prepositions about object or scope; prepositions about accordance or cause.Third part: Analysis of the prepositions of Biyan Lu. We analysed every preposition of Biyan Lu on the basis of the classification.
