The Study Of Postmeder Art

The digital technology and the energy of Cyberspace provided by the postmodern media not only reconstruct a new concept of Time and Space, but also challenge the idea and practice of art production and consumption. Simultaneously, it also offers more direct conditions for us to research the aesthetic experience in Cyberspace or virtual reality, and to study the implications or relations between the physical imagination of human being and the simulated aesthetic experience. The historic thread of thoughts of Postmodern Art and existent concepts of the digital times has been changed profoundly. This text points out the necessity and possibility to set up an aesthetic system referring to the digital art practice, and appeals artists and aestheticians who are now facing the challenges to take on the enormous responsibilities.
