Wen Tian-xiang is an important poet as well as a famous patriotic hero in late Nan Song Dynasty. His works are voluminous and among them mainly are poems, which amount to more than 800 pieces. He raised troops to save the country from danger in the year of De You Yuan Nian (1275 AD), which as a turning point, his poems changed greatly as well. Before this year, most of his poems are composed in reply to friends, or to describe the scenery or historical relics. Therefore, the content embodied are flat and limited. While after that year, his poems wrote afterwards all covered substantial content, which were full of patriotic passions and each of which were composed with blood and toil. And from the perspective of the great change of his experience and ideology, This paper try to seek the alteration of poetic content and artistic features caused by such a change. Moreover, we believe the different ideas in poetics he adopted later is a very important factor as well which led to the alteration of his poems content and artistic features.
