Mt. Lushan was one of the districts bestowed the titles "the National Geological Park of China" and "the World Cultural Landscape" in the World Heritage List. This famous mountain situated in the north of Jiangxi Province, the highest peak of the mountain is 1,474 meters high (above sea level). This article discussed more than 100 poets and their poetic works which chanting Mt. Lushan in Tang dynasty. First of all, this article collected over 270 Tang poems concerned Mt. Lushan. And made these poems an elementary classification. Meanwhile, the article analyzed the artists' colony of Mt. Lushan in their formation and combination in Tang dynasty. The truth and pursuit in poems of Mt. Lushan, their basic characteristics, and the influence on poets in Song dynasty are also discussed in the final text.
