Product Semantics is a subject which is applying the language symbol studied into the Product Designs. The paper specifically describes the nature of product designs in the new epoch based on theoretical considerations, and proposes that Product Semantics is a modern design ideology after the Product Design is turned into a kind of culture perception. It also dissertates in detail the basic concept of Product Semantics; the basic connotation ;the practical application and the ansen problen in the course of application and wish to improve the theoretics level of Industrial Design in China, enrich the way of design in Product Design.The Product Design as a kind of culture a, being a kind of culture perception and appears a certain of meaning of culture thoughts. The Product Design as a form of culture language is a system of symbols with functions of the genus language. Therefore, the Product Design is a kind of code process, and the culture of design is to endue with the product modality through the code way of formative language.
