As long as the production innovation from manual operation into productionof machiney, chinese tradiation jargon has lost their living space and market underthe impact of the modern commercial process. Based on current situationmentioned above, in order to find a new way in developing tradiational handicraft,this report is gonna to use the idea of product semantics to look for the vitality ofbamboo weaving handmade product.Bamboo weaving product is one of the famous chinese tradiational jargonwith a long histroy. woven products is not only a product, but also a traditionalculture. This study focuses on the product design of bamboo weaving productwhich is a traditional jargon. Meanwhile, then help the product design innovationof bamboo product. Via the study of the internal relationship between traditionalbamboo products and product semantics, this study aims to develop the newvitality of traditaional bamboo product design, and prove evidence on new waysfor traditional jargon in the modern product design area. Our ancients werewisdom and developed different bamboo weaving methods and application areas,and these become the unique traditional culture of bamboo product. These days,China has various kinds of bamboo products, while most of them are still usingthe traditional methods of production which is mainly craftsmanship, and toward adead end.
