Analyzing The Bionic Product Design From Semantic Level

Since the ancient came in to being on this planet; the way of human evolution and development is the same process of learning form the Nature.Bionic design, in term of product design, lies basically in the external features of the product, y imitating the form, color and texture of organism, e could use these special features of the organism to indicate the special merit of our design. The improvement of the living standard changes the way by which people use their money. People nowadays not only demand the physical function of the product, but begin to pay more attention to more profound meaning of the product. individuation and the complex fealing which evolve by this originality are also emphsized The meaning that conevied by the product becomes a more important factor in the products designing process .The main point of this article foucs on the bionic concept of product design. we fristly begin with the development of bionic design and the way in which it is expressed , and then we combine the relevent knowledge of product semantics with many practical cases on this subject. discuss and analize specially on the feature of semantics and its relation with the product semantics .Bionic design of product, in this article, is explained as the way by which product information expresses and delivers, the discussion on bionic design and the way product semanics conveys are addressed from different levels. To what degree the preciseness, effectiveness and sufficiency of the product information, when we make a full eveluation of the bionic design, can reach is a significant criteria on a good design.But we disappointedly found that relevent criteria on the eveluation of the product sematics has not been set up specifically and systematically, after a carefully investion on a great deal of document. Everyone has one's own idea and explanation on those designs which use bionic designing stredegy as design method. This article therefore aim on the attemption of summaring a practical criteria form product sematics and by doing so designers can work more specially and activelly on the practice of bionic designing. And with the interaction of human and mechine, better pratical function can be fully displayed and more richful emotions can be feeled by the users and more idea-transfering marvelous works can be worked out by our gifted designer...
