An Analysis Of The Psychological Verbs In Jiaguwen

From the viewpoint of linguistics, this paper researches on a group of verbs about psychological in Jiaguwen. The researches about psychological verbs in Modern Chinese have had a long history, and have obtained plenty of achievements, but consider of the Jiaguwen's characteristics, this paper makes a wide definition to psychological verbs with all verbs in relation to psychological or feeling or speech. After analyses all the lingual data, this paper excludes the possibility of some verbs and affirms 27 psychological verbs. With analyses on syntax, we can conclude that: the primary function of psychological verbs is as the predicate of a sentence, these verbs can be followed objects and adverbial modifier, their complements are act as structure of "yu" and this structure can locate itself as the front or the back of verbs. This paper classifies psychological verbs as with apperception and with modal by semantic. In the end of this paper, there is a compare of the psychological verbs in jiaguwen and in xianqin Chinese.
