Moral education method is the method used by moral educators to guide moral education target's thinking and action. It is the tool used in moral education activity. In a sense, it is the key factor in moral education, deciding the effect of moral education directly. We should value the study of moral education method, especially the study of the successful experiences of other countries.Lawrence Kohlberg was a famous American development psychologist and moral education theoretician, the founder and the main representative of moral cognition study. Kohlberg's approach in moral education practice included the moral dilemma discussion approach and the just community approach. They were called respectively "the new Socrates' approach" and "the new Plato's approach" by Kohlberg for absorbing the essence of Socrates' and Plato's moral education approach. Kohlberg's moral education practice is a process from "the new Socrates' approach" to "the new Plato's approach". Kohlberg's moral education approach has a wide influence in the world. Learning. Kohlberg's moral education approach has an important significance to the development and innovation of Chinese moral education. So, the author studies Kohlberg's moral education approach, analyzing their theory basic, thinking and concrete operation approach, judging and comparing them respectively.
