The Study On Modern Chinese N Items Appositional Formula

The thesis mainly states modern Chinese n items appositional formula. Based on theanalysis of the collected materials and on the achievements of the other research, we makebelow research.According to the structure characteristics of Zhen shan mei /Sheng guang hua dian /Jinmu shui huo tu /Li yue she yu shu shu /Chai mi you yan jiang cu cha and so on ,we give aname to this kind of linguistic phenomenon, that is n items appositional formula .Thedefinition of it is that n items appositional formula is composed of n (3≤n≤7) appositionalindividual syllable words which in a meaning of category , the most of them are four itemsappositional formula .The characteristics of n items appositional formula are that its structureis similar to word's, its meaning is generalized, its syllable characteristic is similar to phrase's,the structure relationship is simple, the use is wide. Considering wholly from its characteristicof meaning and structure, we regard that n items appositional formula is developing fromsemi-fixed phrase to idiom. Regards to the structure of n items appositional formula, weclassified it from constitute way and the number of its components, and also analyze itsswitch regularity. Considering its meaning, we analyze it from two aspects: first, relationshipbetween its components;second, meaning relationship between components and theentirety .In addition, we discuss the reasons which influence the order of n items appositionalformula. Verb-n items appositional formula always makepredicate, subject, attribute, object, seldom make adverbial modifier, scarcely makecomplement in sentences;Generally speaking, it can't bring subject directly. Adjective-nitems appositional formula mainly make subject, attribute, object, predicate, seldom makeadverbial modifier and complement in sentences;Generally speaking, it can't be decorated byextent adverb. It makes visual and vivid expression effect in language with its unique style. Itdisplays strong characteristic of Han nationality and contains a large number of cultureinformation;otherwise, the tone of it has strong rhythm, which brings the sense of musicbeauty.
