social skill is a multidimensional structure, which comprises skills of social information's acceptance, interpretation and transmission. There is a "construction imbalance" phenomenon, if some aspect of social skill development is hindered , and children's social skill shortage will present itself.In psychology, people often use social skill training to remedy social skill shortage. The traditional social skill training includes cognitive training, behavior training and emotional training. In solving the problem of children's emotional social skill shortage, people question datum and training effects of the traditional emotional social skill training model.In clinical psychology, play therapy has good effects in solving children's emotional problems. Therefore, the study attempted to bring in short-term group play therapy, especially solve the problem of children's emotional social skill shortage. At the same time, the study wants to compare directive group play therapy with non-directive group play therapy.Based on directive play therapy model and non-directive play therapy model, the study designed two different blue prints of group training, and it took 2 month's to enhance the children of emotional social skill. Integrated qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, the study came to conclusions:(1) Short-term group play therapy can enhance children's social skill , and improve children's emotional social skill.(2) The effect of non-directive group play therapy was better than directive group play therapy in improving children's emotional social skill, but in improving emotioncontrol , the effect of directive group play therapy was better than non-directive group play therapy.
