This study is discussing the effect of play therapy group counseling on the life adjustment of shy children. The main objectives are: (1) to design a plan for play therapy group and take it into practice. (2) to discover the effect of play therapy group on the life adjustment of shy children. (3) to discuss the behavior characteristics and changing process of the shy children in play.The experiment-control (pretest-posttest) group method was designed in the study. 20 shy children in the fourth and fifth grade of a primary school were investigated. Take the play therapy group counseling as independent variable, which has 60 minutes a time, twice a week, 12 times in total, and take the life adjustment as dependent variable. The instruments in this research were "Shyness Inventory for Children in Primary School", "Life Adjustment Inventory for Children in Primary School" and "Behavior Recording Sheet in Play". The study was to discuss the effect of play therapy group counseling on the life adjustment of shy children and analyze the children's behavior characteristic and changing process in play. This study also examined the Stage Feedback and Whole Feedback, had an interview with teachers and parents.Conclusions:1.
