The Research On The Phonetic System Of Yibin(Baihua Town) Dialect

Yibin county lies in the South of Sichuan province. There has been not a few works and papers about investigating and researching dialects in the South of Sichuan province since 1940s.On the basic of investigating in detail Yibin(Baihua town) dialect, this paper mainly researches the phonetic system of Yibin(Baihua town) dialect. This paper will push the phonetic system of the dialect of the South of Sichuan province forward, enrich the research on the Chinese dialect in N-orthwest Mandarin and help explore the relationship between Northwest Mandarin and Un-Northwest Mandarin.This paper first introduces geography, administrative area, population and the evolution of organizational system of Yibin county and Baihua town and points out the importance of investigating Yibin(Baihua town) dialect; then describes the phonetic system of Yibin(Baihua town) dialect on these aspects of consonants, vowels, tones, the matching relationship of consonants, vowels and tones and mutations; lists the syllabary of Yibin(Baihua town) dialect; compares the current phonetic system of Yibin(Baihua town) dialect with the phonetic system of the middle ancient times on these aspects of consonants, vowels and tones, analyses...
