Study On Phonology Of The Dialects Of Dougou Town

Dougou Town is located in Zhengyang regional of Henan Province,while Zhengyang regional is located at the junction of Hubei Province,Henan Province and Anhui Province.Because of the special geographical position,Dougou Town dialects show great differences.In view of the evolution directions of its ancient entering tones,Dougou Town dialect belongs to Zhongyuan Mandarin.Because of the influences of Jianghuai Mandarin and Southwest Mandarin,Dougou Town dialect also appeares some special phonetic phenomena.Firstly,this article describes the phonetic system of Dougou Town dialect in detail,and analyzes the characteristics of its initials,fanals and tones.Then,analyze special phonetic features of DouGou Town.Lastly,compares Dougou Town dialect with the surrounding dialects,thus to obtain a relatively compete phonetics features of Dougou Town dialect.This article has six chapters:Chapter One introduces the geography,the history conditions,the previous studies,the research value of this article,content and method of Dougou Town dialect briefly.Chapter Two describes the phonetic system and characteristics of Dougou Town dialect.Chapter Three and Chapter Four make comparative study between the phonological system of Middle Chinese and the Dougou Town dialect in the consonant,vowel and tones.Chapter Five compare Dougou Town dialect with the surrounding dialects from initials,fanals and tones.Thus it can be seen that Dougou Town dialect was affected by the Jianghuai Mandarin and Southwest Mandarin.Chapter six discusses the classification of Dougou Town dialect not only on the base of the present toneme of ancient entering tone characters,but also considers the features of initials and finals,and the same regards the history,geography,immigration,economic and cultural level factors.Through the comprehensive investigation and analysis,this article presented pronunciation of Dougou Town dialect from a certain extent,the paper think Dougou Town dialect is a dialect mixing zone,can not all be classified Zhongyuan Mandarin.This paper has a positive effect for people to understand and study the Zhongyuan Mandarin better.
