The Research On Picking Up The Five Colors Pigments From Vegetable Dyes

With thousands years, development of Chinese tranditional color culture, it shape the system which use the Five Colors as the nucleus of way to use colors . In the thesis, the main point is using the Five Colors to classify the Vegetable Dyes, and do the research about the extraction of the pigments. And then apply the achievement to the decoration method.Using the Five Colors to classify the Vegetable Dyes is the most artistic characteristics of Chinese classifications. It not only avoid the weakness of the formerly classification, but also give the designer visual sense directly.By doing researches about how to extract more nature pigments, I define the method to extract the best color of each dyes under different conditions. By analying the standard color cloth,I gain the theory of making use of the plants to develop the pigment product. I also combine the vegetable pigment and traditional dyeing technology together to create many individual works.This thesis also through briefing describe the history, analyses the application of the vegetable dyes, conclude the advantage and weakness and inquire into the prospect in the future.
