Zhang Kangkang, a prominent female writer in China's new era, is a big name amongmainstream writers during Chinese literature development. She is always highly clear-headed andego-concerned which are showed in her literature works. Her novels revealed her specialpersonality, open-minded cultural vision, and free writing style. The 1990's are a booming periodof Chinese female literature. However, Zhang Kangkang refused to admit her writing is just fromfeminine writing stand, which made her status in feminine writing field kind of embarrassed. As aresult, many scholars whose researches are focused on "feminine writing " because her writing isnot considered to be the typical feminine "private whisper" overlook her works. It is not a surprisethat her works are banished to the borderline of feminine writing field. There is no accordant response to Zhang Kangkang's novels from comment and readercircles, some praise it, while others pick it. Meanwhile, to a certain degree, the reading of Zhang'snovels are misled by media, all these contribute to the need to further annotate her works. Since1990, there has been little systematical research on Zhang Kangkang's literature works so thatthere is no comprehensive understanding of Zhang Kangkang's transformation in writing vision. Therefore, the important influence of her novels in revealing multi-choices of feminine writing isnot thoroughly realized. This paper is intend to elucidate Zhang Kangkang's transformation in writing and definitionof feminine vision by analyzing her three typical novel texts: Light from Arctic Pole, Love gallery,a Zuo Woman. Applying the theory of feminism into the detailed analysis of her three novels, theauthor tries to give readers a deeper and further understanding about the change in Zhangkangkang's women's vision and her cultural analysis and imagination of relationship between menand women ----dislocation and harmony, which probably conceived the new bud of 21 centuryfeminine writing. This paper is divided into four parts: Part one: " to be a person" and " to be awoman"---the dilemma situation that lies in woman writing. This part mainly discusses thedilemma situation for women writing and their response to the dilemma---"to resist" and "to flee".Part two: " Light from Arctic Pole"---an ideal symbol for men and women. By analyzing threevisions that showed in this novel, the author manifested Zhang Kangkang's salvation means—by"self-salvation" and by seeking for ideal man--"He-salvation". Part three: " lovegallery"---establishment of ideal love Utopia. This part is focused on analysis of women' sawakening sex consciousness and re-definition of self-value in order to reveal that in the materialera, the spiritual world is going withered and the redeem of " love" and " beauty" is of greatimportance. Part four, " I do so that I am being alive"---the cultural imagination of harmoniousrelationship between men and women. This part mainly discusses the significance of the novel " aZuo Woman". The significance of this novel lies in that Zhang Kangkang not only preciselydescribed women living states---worries, confusions and dissimilation, etc. but also, she extendsher cultural imagination and expectation of harmonious relationship between men and women, man and nature—a green Eden. Among the four parts, the latter two are more important. Theauthor thinks the three novels showed the spiritual changing process what Zhang Kangkang haveever gone through---from spiritual pursuit in humanism, pouring out idealistic words, to spiritualpursuit in enrichment of human nature and harmony. Influenced by Didacticism and Humanism, her thoughts and writing conflict each other in the novel text, which lead to a dislocation betweenaesthetic ideal and realistic context. However, even in the dislocation, Zhang kangkang still stickon her cultural imagination about the harmonious relationship between men and women, man andnature. The author points out that, Zhang Kangkang's insistence on her aesthetic ideal is a shock onthe current commercial writing phenomenon, which exists in female writers. And she overthrewthe mistakes lying in traditional opinion of relationship between men and women. Also sheredressed the extremely opposing and demanding stand of feminists about the relationshipbetween men and women. Her leading cultural ID and open-minded writing maybe can enlightenfeminine writing to a more profound spiritual vision and higher level.
