On Zhang Kangkang's Novel In The " For Women " Image

More and more people became pay attention to their own Emotional World and Living Conditions since the new era. As a result, Literature Achieved good development. As a writer who got well-known in Cultural Revolution era and was accepted by the Mainstream, Zhang Kangkang always concern about Satisfaction of human being's Emotional World and Living Conditions. Her fictions describe a group of"woman on the edge"and display the behavior of Emotional World and Living Conditions they pursue. This behavior can not be accepted by most people in recent times, so these were called"Zuo", and these female were called"woman on the edge".This paper study the purpose of creation about"woman on the edge"by showing the image of"woman on the edge", How does she pursue a ideal Living Conditions. This thesis is divided into three parts:Part one , according to Expression of"woman on the edge", we generalize these differences into three types : Intermittent class,Listless class and Continuity class. At the same time, we elaborate their common and difference of thought,action and outcome.In the second part, this paper is to mainly discuss these factors which create and hold back the image of"woman on the edge". The reasons of the creation of"woman on the edge"will be discussed from both the objective aspects of times, family and"male redemption", and the subjective aspects of identity of intellectuals and women's surpassing themselves. Then, the paper will further discuss these factors which circumscribe the formation of images of"woman on the edge"from the aspects of traditional culture, women themselves and contemporary times.Finally, this paper is to focus on the significance of creation of"woman on the edge", which involves its social and cultural significance. From the aspect of its social significance, the image of"woman on the edge"not only reflects that the author is always interested in the female problems during the period of social transformation, but also shows the close relationship of the accurate location of the image of"woman on the edge", the degree of social development and the judgment standard. Through this image, the author shows the consciousness of female subject and promotes the all-round development of women and is beneficial for the social harmonization. From the aspect of cultural significance, the creation of the image of"woman on the edge"presents the living conditions of these"woman on the edge"who ill at ease and have an instinct for changing, which reflects the culture outlook of"home"and"gender harmony"of the author. Meanwhile, it still implies the author's untiring pursuit of spiritual civilization of"woman on the edge". Above all, they expect to reach a kind of ideal living state and condition by"zuo"and further expound new meaning and significance to it.
