The Chinese modern aesthetics,which was born and developed in the queasy and diverse Chinese modern society , has its own obvious characteristic. The aesthetics at that time is not only a creative process from nonexistence to ens but also a smelting process from indraught to assimilation and it even tried to construct its own system. Its special historical worth and abundant content provide for us infinite chance and motive to carry on the research.The Metaaesthetics method, which makes semantic analysis on the aesthetics concept, and the genetic epistemology method, which makes historical pectination on the problems, can be used on the research of the Chinese modern aesthetics. It will bring us some new detections and understanding on this problem. The modern aesthetics developed flexurally along with the phenomenon of the gradual entry of western culture into China. At first, the Chinese and foreign educationalists tried to introduce into the subject's appellation, and then they made a simple presentation on the aesthetics knowledge as part of philosophy and psychology, some scholar even tried to made a deep understand on the western aesthetics and at the same time inosculated in the Chinese culture, at last they made a set of independent Chinese language system to construct a integrate aesthetics system primarily as the western esthetics system.
