The Humane Spirit In The Bakhtin's Dialogue Theory

The cultural scholar Bakhtin of Russia of the 20th century, who carried on theoretical research in many fields, he has put forward some original creative theories: polyphony theory, the theory of carnivalization, dialogue theory, etc. On the base of social contract theory of Bakhtin, dialogue doctrine is built, which is the key question to study all his life and it occupies the extremely important position in his criticizing activities. Dialogue is not merely mean a kind of artistic mode of thinking, also a kind of philosophy idea even more a kind of humane spirit. Bakhtin believes that dialogue is not merely exist in human life and top layer of the behavior, it also permeate in human language and the depth of human thought, which is the human life and existing essence.The thesis is mainly discuss the humane spirit of the dialogue theory of Bakhtin. The thesis is divided into three parts: First, survey of our country academic circles research current situation of the dialogue theory of Bakhtin. Second, the author analyses the dialogue theory from narration and philosophy meaning. Bakhtin regards the dialogue as existence characteristic of human, he and difference are prerequisite and foundation of dialogue. The difference which Bakhtin affirmation is that among a society, a colony, there must exist two or more than two kinds of difference even set thought view and value position against. What's more, he acknowledges that different thought view and value position all have its existing rationality. Third, the author illustrates the humane spirit of the dialogue theory. From the point of view, the author thinks of people as free individual and set out to hold the humane spirit. The humane spirit in modern meaning is free will, freedom spirit and value ideal of referring to people. It sets the freedom, obscurantism of the spirit of creation, totalitarianism of fettering and inhibiting people against in essence. The dialogue theory contains equal thought, democratic spirit and exploration of ultimate meaning of people, which show Bakhtin is deeply concerned about human being.
