As an important writer of personalization writing and feminism writing, Linbai's works attract the literature world because of its special personality and cultural impact.Since2000s, she has been noticed more greatly by the criticism circle because of her change on works.Among many different stylistic novels by Linbai in the different period, Exposition and query are her spiritual pursuit from beginning to end, And her personalization and feminism writing position have never changed. This article tries to connect the different period works from the foundation of"existential consciousness"which most of researchers rarely involve, so as to study the"existential consciousness"in the works, find out the clue of which Linbai's change of writing and seek the more internal interpretation of change on her works through investigating the deeper meaning of texts. Moreover, this article also tries to make the reader understand and grasp the meaning of her works newly and deeply through the angle of existence.The whole thesis consists of four parts besides the introduction and conclusion. The introduction describes simply the existential consciousness which originates from the western literary trends in 20th century because of its effect on Linbai. This part also provides readers with ideas on Linbai's existential consciousness and this thesis's writing purpose.In this thesis ,the existential consciousness of Linbai's novels in different periods is explicated from four different angles.The first part: Sad Melodies of Women Incorporated Individual Experiences.
