Lin Bai's Works And Writing Change

As an important writer of personalization writing and feminism writing, Linbai's works attract the literature world because of its special personality and cultural impact. The works, e.g., A Person's War, Fatal Fly, Chair on the Cloister, Bullets through the Apple, Water in the Bottle, etc, dig up the consciousness of female, and present female's special life experience and personal memory. Recent years, Linbai's works such as Well, the Room, All Flowers to Open, and The Record of a Woman's Chat, show a marked change from the female personalization to the life realism of Back to Ground, which indicate the puzzledom in her current writing, the necessary to overcome the puzzle, and the efforts.Based on the feminism private writing, this article tries to connect the Linbai's works in different periods and to investigate the main features of her writing creation, so as to find out the clue of which Linbai's change of writing, and seek the more internal interpretation of change on her works through investigating the deeper meaning of texts. Moreover, this article also tries to make the reader understood and grasp the meaning of her works newly and deeply through the rationality of writing change.The whole thesis consists of three parts except for the introduction and conclusion.The part of introduction mainly describes the existential consciousness which originated from the western literary in 20th century. The existential consciousness has made great influence on Linbai. Besides, this part also introduces the period background of Linbai's existential consciousness and the purpose of this thesis.In this thesis, according to the works produced in different periods, we make the analysis of the existential consciousness of Linbai's novels from three angles. Meanwhile, we will discuss the rationality of the change in her writing and the significant meaning on literature.Part one: Linbai's early works and its characters. In general, Linbai's works show to be consistent, which is mainly because her writing standpoint, the consideration of female fate and existential consciousness, is established on the female under the culture of the male powered society. In this section, I will launch describing from two aspects: one is to describe the open words and modernistic female consciousness in Linbai's writings, the other is to describe the aesthetics tendency of Linbai's female individual writing, because she put forward the sex experience and female consciousness to an extreme. We will investigate Linbai's writing on female private life and marginal sexual experience from three aspects: the aggregated narration approach and vision, the realism of female existence, and the collision with the male powered society.Part two: The Linbai's recent works and its characters. In a closer approach to realism, the works, such as Well, the Room, All Flowers to Open, the Record of a Woman's Chat, have presented the survival circumstance and spiritual status of females. In this section, I will analyze in detail about her works All Flowers to Open and the Record of a Woman's Chat, which indicate the cheer of folk language and the absurdism of life. In addition, From her four representative works, Well, the Room, the Glass Worms, All Flowers to Open, the Record of a Woman's Chat, I will take them as examples to find out her creative transformation process. In addition, I will conduct the conclusion about her writing features: from subjective narration to Back to the Groud based he/she personal pronoun, from female self to the whole lives of everything, from anxiety to degage.Part three: the rationality of Linbai's writing change and the significant literature meaning. In this section, I will deeply discuss the reason of Linbai's writing change and the rationality. The conclusion can come to two points: one is the necessary for Linbai to break through her writing puzzledom, the other is her deeper thinking about the female fate in realistic life. Besides, I will make analyses the significant literature meaning of Linbai's writing change from three angles. The first is from the aspect of the writer's grow and mature process, the second is based on history of female literature to investigate the exceedance of writer's vision, and the third is form the view of rural and the literature history of realism.The conclusion part will point out that due to the pursuit for spirit essence, Linbai's writing comes to a significant change. Meanwhile, she still keep the consistent writing position of personalization and feminization. All of this makes her work presenting a special character and magic power. The visual field of Linbai's creations heads for spacious place gradually, appearing the possibility and the feasibility of feminism writing stature.
