The Characteristics And Relation Research On Female Master Degree Students Achievement Motivation And Self-confidence

Achievement motivation refers to the internal drive force of people who strive for success in the process of accomplishing tasks. That is a kind of internal drive force of the subject who will be delightful to do the important and valuable things that one may consider and strive to reach the perfect result. It is an important field in achievement motivation research to study the trait and influence factors of female achievement motivation. Self-confidence is a psycho-structure of complicated layers, is the positive affirmation and ascertaining of oneself, and is a kind of steady personality trait which can makes objective and positive cognition and evaluation to one's capacity and merit. It has compact relation and co-operation with other personality systems. Presently, more and more scholars submit that the achievement motivation level of female is related to their self-confidence level closely.In recent years, as the elevation of female's education level the proportion of female masters have enhanced gradually. It draws close attention in psychology, education and sociology directly. As they are the group that has higher study-achievement in female, it appears very necessary to have a profound research in female masters'achievement motivation, self-confidence trait and the relationship of the two.In this dissertation we have adopted the AMS and Undergraduate Self-Confidence Questionnaire(Edition). From 1-3 grades postgraduates in Jilin University and Northeast Normal University, 381 female masters in all who are major in Science and Arts as the valid subjects are selected.
