The Investigation On The Phonetic Of QiShan Dialect

QiShan is the old haunt of XiZhou that lies in the west of Xi'an city, and its administration section belongs to the city of BaoJi in the past dynasties. There are several books investigate the QiShan dialect as single spot, for example, the part of Dialect in the QiShan County Annals written by Mr. GuoZizhi had depicted at large the QiShan dialect systematically and Mr. Han Baoyu had studied the syntax of QiShan dialect also. Except for these two works, the others almost treat the QiShan dialect as a constitutive segment, and they also mentioned the exemplification of the phenomenon that GuanZhong dialect contains the QiShan dialect during they work over the whole GuanZhong dialect, so the investigation to the QiShan dialect itself lack the integrality and systemic.This text tries to do a good systemic research on single spot dialect. So it aims to take the QiShan dialect as the phonetic stylebook, depict some of the language phenomena and research them on both the contemporary and non-contemporary. The importance of the research lies as the following aspects: (1)Show the phonetic visage of the QiShan dialect wholly and systematically, (2)discover and verify the phenomenon and rule about the ancient-modern phonetic evolution via comparing the ancient sound and modern sound. This does not only provide the sound stylebook for the historical research of the sound evolution but also offer the live evidence to the foundation of the Chinese History. (3)Discover the form procession of the historical phonetic change via reviewing the contemporary phonetic change and enrich the research of the historical language. (4)We could make some drafted measure of the phonetic compare and evolvement mode among different areas which offer some gist to the measure through such investigation contemporarily. So we can change the static depiction on the contemporary planar into a dynamic analysis about the phonetic evolvement and development. (5)Offer new materials, new facts and new thoughts to the research of the Modern Chinese, Chinese History and Linguistic theory.This article includes five parts: prologue, the analysis of the QiShan dialect phonetic, the homophone collection of the QiShan dialect, the contemporary phonetic changes of the QiShan dialect, the phonetic character of the QiShan dialect throughcomparing the phonetic of the mediaeval times and the modern QiShan dialect. And the author also makes an embedded analysis and investigation on the following issues: the position of the QiShan dialect in the dialect sub-area;the trait of the phonetic system;the different phonetic between the modern-ancient group;the different phonetic between the word-tongue language;the contemporary phonetic change and the rules;the relation with the north-west dialect in the Tang;the WuDai and the Song dynasties, the disparting and combination of the ZhL Zhuang> Zhang;the relation between the Ni and Lai;the relation among the Duan> Jing and Jian;the infection to the historical phonetic change brought by the contemporary phonetic change, and so on. This article makes an especial attention on the contemporary phonetic change in order to discover the continuing reading tonal modification, light tone, Er suffix, Zi suffix, the continuing expression mode of all kinds of overlapping nouns and adjectives and expression changes of the single-word brought by the continuing reading, etc. All the works what have been done must provide a basic to the research of the glossary and the syntax and assistance to thorough investigation on the contemporary phonetic changes rule of the north-west dialect.The author makes an innovation on the technique lay, she uses the technical means of the experimental phonetic to combine the social-science with the physical-science research while using the conventional method of the dialectology.This article manages the theory of glossary-diffusing and folded- phonetic changes to explain the phonetic phenomena in the QiShan dialect except for the conventional means of depiction and historical compare. She tries to discover a new language-evolvement rule on the basic of the investigation outcome.
