Abstract: Compares with the modern Chinese language, the person pronouns of the ancient Chinese language not only the system is more huge, the quantity is large, abut also the usage is very complex too. therefore, in the grammar research of ancient Chinese language, the research of the persona pronouns has been occupying the important position all the time, especially the question of the third person pronouns, is a focus that everybody pays close attention to even more, almost all the grammar works and archaic Chinese teaching materials will put forward this question, a lot of people write and carry on research to this gently too. Which however, there has been unified understanding in the academia about a lot of problems such as: is there any third person pronouns in the ancient Chinese language, have which, what their usage is, etc. The viewpoint of every house is not the same. This text plan on the basis that forefathers study, to make a more overall investigation about the usage circumstance of the third person pronouns in the ancient Chinese, we hope that can promote final settlement of the problem and further completion of the ancient Chinese pronoun system through this work.This text mainly for the pronouns "其","之","厥","彼",which are disputed heavy, as concrete investigation object. It has used the frequency statistics and method that describe when being altogether in the course of studying, through a serious and careful analyze about language material, producing the conclusion finally. The full text is divided into three parts totally:The first part is an introduction, has introduced the background of subject research, the source of the material, it is mainly that the current situation of study on subject has been explained;The second part is the asserting of the third person pronouns of the primitive Chinese language. Through an analysis of different views, we find the reason for producing difference is lacks the unification the judgment basis and the standard.
