In the development history of art of Chinese oil painting, the nonage of twenty century is the unique age, during which Chinese oil painting has began to get up the stage, come to be one of the mainstream of Chinese art. The concept of oil painting formed in this age made exploration and foreshadowing for developing modern art of oil painting.Therefore, closely observing the various figure and patterns presented by the artistic creation of oil painting in the nonage of the twenty century has all the time been regarded as the focus subject under discussion by the internal research on arts since this new century. But in such a numerous and complicated spring tide of discussion, fruitful efforts made to exercise control over the development of canvas arts in the nonage of twenty century from the real-history-matched perspective and aesthetic concept are indeed rare. Actually, it is really more valuable to reinvestigate and explore those oil creative works of the last century from such a new angle of view.With the reflection on canvas arts of that period, thorough inquiry into the manifestation of one of the obvious regional cultural experience-the cultural experience of Jiangzhe(geography,drama, philosophy,art, Jiangnan atmosphere).This can make some traditional factors found out in modern Chinese oil painting along with artistic exploration with the nature of nationality. Moreover, through this, many long-standing mistaken ideas may be wiped away in the modern process of exploration.
